Inside Sales Representative

This is a permanent, full time position to start immediately. Pay will be base salary plus incentives.

As a member of our Sales Team, you will be required to maintain business for Account managers, book meetings and drive attendance for Marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and Business Development, the successful candidate will be self-driven with the maturity to work independently and the confidence to successfully present our service offerings to perspective clients.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Support sales team efforts in improving sales and customer satisfaction for active accounts
  • Engage with senior-level executives to proactively schedule and confirm sales meetings through calling and lead generation campaigns
  • Acquire leads through prospecting lists in assigned territories, outbound marketing/lead campaigns and incoming web and phone inquiries
  • Partner with Sales Executives and Account Managers to create customized plans for assigned territories to support sales cycle success and to drive urgency
  • Gather business intelligence on companies, leads and qualified prospects
  • Help insuring customer needs are understood and addressed in the sales process by supporting experts and managers
  • Update CRM with customer intelligence in alignment with management
  • Supply quotes to the customer in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure that orders are expedited through the system
  • Liaise with Administrative, Technical and Operations departments in order to provide smooth order flow and successful resolution of customer demands
  • Assist Marketing Manager with events by driving new prospect attendees through cold calling and online email automation tools
  • Assist Marketing Manager with event preparation and setup as needed
  • Attend new account meetings when required by the Account Manager

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in IT or Business
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Inside Sales environment, respectively Demand Generation
  • Experience in the IT industry and strong technical product knowledge
  • Exceptional ability to establish credibility with senior-level executives
  • Previous experience communicating and assisting in the development, maintenance and service of large accounts is necessary
  • Knowledge of marketing procedures, computer product technology (hardware, software and networks) and sales cycles
  • Experience working in a VAR or distribution channel experience would be beneficial
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent organization, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience using CRM and Marketing automation tools an asset
